Geoff Mangum of the PuttingZone will conduct a series of four PuttingZone clinics over two days, October 10-11, at Limburg Golf and Country Club, Hasselt Belgium, in conjunction with Friso en Boer’s PuttingZone Academy in Belgium. The clinics are half day each, one morning session and one afternoon session each day.
Sessions cover putting stroke and touch and green reading and aiming. The PuttingZone instruction is the only program in golf history that teaches all four skills as an integrated system of perception and movement, with reading based upon touch skill and surface perception skill, aiming based upon the read and perception skill, stroke based upon putter face aim and body setup and stroke biomechanics designed to promote stroking the ball wherever the putter face has been aimed for read, and touch skill based upon the brain science of human perception and movement in relation to space applied to the space of putts on real greens. In contrast, putting instruction that teaches putting stroke without also teaching or coordinating the teaching with reading, aiming, and touch, or teaches putt reading without teaching aiming and stroking where aimed with touch, have little chance of helping golfers, who invariably need assistance getting all four skills straightened out and integrated. All clinic participants receive the Optimal Putting ebook, text summaries of the lessons, collections of drills and exercises for the skills, and supporting video demonstrating the skills and drills for future reference.
