FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla., October 7, 2011…Edwin Watts Golf Shops, LLC, (EWGS), one of the world’s largest specialty golf retailers with over 90 retail locations, today announced that the Charlotte-area stores will be hosting the first annual Fall Expo on Saturday, October 15, 2011, at Charlotte Golf Links, located at 11500 Providence Road.
From 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday, golfers of all ages and skill levels are invited to the course for an exciting day of activities, highlighted by new product testing, free custom club and ball fitting sessions and an opportunity to participate in a putting contest for a chance to win an exciting selection of prizes.
All golfers will be able to test out the newest products from the game’s leading brands, while experiencing a custom club and/or ball fitting from top brands on-site such as Callaway, TaylorMade, Adams Golf, Bridgestone, PING, Mizuno, Wilson, Cobra, Titleist, Nike, Footjoy, Puma, Golf Pride, See More Putters, and more.
Additionally, PGA Professionals from Carolina Trail Learning Centers will be offering free 10-minute lessons throughout the day, and all attendees will be treated to special guest appearances from long drive/trick shot artists Rocky “Rockstar” Shipes and Daniel Eskew, and Will Lowery, star of “The Big Break.”
Admission to Edwin Watts Golf’s first annual Fall Expo at Charlotte Golf Links will be $9, which includes one free Golf Pride grip, unlimited range balls and select product samples. Advance tickets are available at a discounted rate of $5 and can be purchased at any Charlotte-area Edwin Watts Golf Shop.
