Anaheim, CA – MATRIX captured its second win in two weeks with the winner of the Kolon Korea Open.
Sunday’s One Asia Tour win for MATRIX follows on the heels of a second place finish on the One Asia
Tour last week, as well as a PGA tour win last week in Los Vegas. The winner was using two MATRIX Ozik
hM2 Hybrid shafts.
According to MATRIX director of Tour Operations, Joe Miera, “two wins on two different tours over a
two week span shows the consistency of MATRIX products and performance, and to have such notable
players winning with MATRIX is such a compliment and honor.”
The winner of Sunday’s Korea Open posted an impressive 16 under par while playing the Ozik hM2 in
his hybrids. The Ozik hM2 has created a strong following on the various professional tours, by sporting a
uniquely stout, yet smooth feel. Additionally, MATRIX is in the process of releasing a hybrid model of its
newest shaft, the Ozik M3. The Ozik hM3 will feature all the same features of the hM2, but will have the
added benefit of MATRIX’s patented HD technology to add stability without increasing weight. The hM3
is gaining popularity on the professional tours, thanks to its tour flight, low spin design.
