Coral Springs, FL (October 14, 2011) – Caddy For A Cure is pleased to announce the return title sponsorship by Liberty Mutual of its annual fundraiser golf tournament. Liberty Mutual sponsors a national series of amateur golf tournaments around the country to benefit and support local charities and provide opportunities to compete in the Liberty Mutual Invitational National Finals at Pinehurst.
The 2011 Liberty Mutual Invitational benefitting Caddy For A Cure will be held again at the TPC Eagle Trace golf course in Coral Springs, FL. This challenging golf course has been host to the PGA TOUR Honda Classic, as well as the qualifying site for the Champions Tour and PGA TOUR Qualifying School. This year’s Caddy For A Cure sponsored event will be on Monday, November 7, 2011. Registration will begin at 11:00a followed by a 12:30p shotgun start, and concluded with cocktails, hors d’ oeuvres, awards and inspirational presentations from beneficiaries of the Caddy For A Cure charitable program.
Caddy For A Cure, Inc., is a non-profit program that raises awareness and support for military home-front charities and for the genetic disorder, Fanconi anemia, through offering golf fans opportunities to caddy for a day with the world’s best golfers on the PGA TOUR during official tournament weeks. Proceeds raised by the program support the PGA TOUR military outreach initiative, Birdies for the Brave (www.birdiesforthebrave.com), helping to meet the specialized needs of service members and their families, and the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund which support Fanconi families and research for a cure.
