As Susan G. Komen Foundation (SGKF) approaches its 30th year of supporting women through the awareness and education of breast cancer, Girlfriends Golf Getaway aids in the cause through a fundraiser to donate a proceed of sales to the non-profit organization.
Similar to SGKF, Girlfriends Golf Getaway (GGG) is an advocate of women empowerment and recognizes the importance of coming together to support each other as a community. By means of a fundraiser, GGG is providing the opportunity for women to support their fellow community through the sport of golf, thrill of travel, and their common bond as women.
This fundraiser by GGG is in action in more ways than one, using both their website services and social media presence as a tool to raise awareness for breast cancer and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Through the website girlfriendsgolfgetaway.com, for every golf vacation booked in the month of October, GGG will donate 5% of all proceeds to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. For golf-loving women, there’s no better way to support the cure for breast cancer while spending time with your best girlfriends.
