No. 1 player in the world benefits from Aldila’s NV; Nationwide Tour winner notches win with NV Proto
POWAY, Calif. – Relying on the lower torque, increased tip stability and better tip stiffness control of Aldila’s (www.aldila.com) RIP shaft in his driver, 3 and 5 woods, the winner of the Castelló Masters ran away from the field finishing 11 strokes ahead to capture his first championship in three years and ninth on the European Tour.
The Castelló Masters champ switched to the RIP series in June and since then has posted some of his best finishes in years. Just two weeks after switching to the RIP, he placed second at the BMW International Open. In his next event, the U.S. Open Championship, he finished tied for seventh place and later tied for 12th at the British Open, one of his best finishes since 2007.
“The RIP™ employs patent-pending technology and exclusive materials to completely transform shaft design from the inside out,” said Stewart Bahl, Aldila’s Marketing Manager. “Through the use of computer modeling technology and exclusive materials provided by the Aldila Materials Division, Aldila engineers were able to completely rethink golf shaft design and performance. The result is a revolutionary shaft with optimum flex and torque characteristics with incredible feel.”
The latest shaft in Aldila’s RIP arsenal, the RIP’d NV, incorporates the best performance attributes from two of Aldila’s most innovative shaft designs. The ‘perfect feel’ and slim, stable shaft profile of the Aldila NV® and the unprecedented control and accuracy of the Aldila RIP®. The Aldila NV, featuring Micro Laminate technology (MLT®), is the most popular aftermarket shaft in history. The revolutionary RIP Technology of the Aldila RIP has made it the hottest model on the PGA Tour.
“The RIP’d NV is not just long, it’s longer – not just straight, it’s straighter,” Bahl said. “While other shaft companies just change names and colors, Aldila technology will change your game.”
“The Hottest Shafts In Golf” was also instrumental on the PGA and Nationwide Tours as well. The #1 player in the world used Aldila’s NV golf shaft to help capture the Children’s Miracle Network Classic and the PGA Tour Money Title.
On the Nationwide Tour it was Aldila’s NV Proto that helped the winner of the Winn-Dixie Jacksonville Open notch his fifth victory on the Nationwide Tour and lift him to number 15 on the Nationwide Tour money list. After next week’s Nationwide Tour Championship, The Top 25 finishers on the Nationwide Tour money list will automatically earn their 2012 PGA Tour card.
Aldila continued its domination of the wood and hybrid shaft manufacturer counts on the PGA Tour. At the Children’s Miracle Network Classic, Aldila had 32 more wood shafts and more than twice the number of hybrid shafts in play than the next leading shaft manufacturer, according to the Darrell Survey. By winning both the wood and hybrid shaft counts, it marked the 36th time in the past 40 events that Aldila has won both counts at a PGA Tour event.
Wrapping up their global stranglehold on the Tours, “The Hottest Shafts In Golf” was also the #1 wood and graphite shaft brand of choice at the Winn-Dixie Jacksonville Open. That marked the second consecutive week for that distinction on the Nationwide Tour.
Aldila’s patented shaft design technologies provide the perfect balance of applied art and engineering. They are continuÌâåÂÌâåÂally on the leading edge of the golf world through their relentless pursuit of the next best innovation. They do the experimenting so you don’t have to. Pushing success to the edge and redefining how power should feel. Are you playing Aldila, or just graphite?
