(CANTON, Mass.) — The International Clubmakers Guild (ICG), in cooperation with PGA Worldwide Golf Exhibitions, is pleased to announce the introduction of the “ICG Connection Center” at the 2012 PGA Merchandise Show, January 25-28, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. The ICG Connection Center will afford attendees the opportunity to meet with vendors dedicated to the clubmaking profession, attend continuing education seminars, network with golf industry professionals, and participate in the inaugural ICG general membership meeting.
The ICG Connection Center will be located in a sizable convention meeting room just off the main exhibit floor to afford easy access for all attendees. PGA Worldwide Golf Exhibitions has pledged its support of the ICG’s efforts in making the ICG Connection Center a success for both participating vendors and attendees.
ICG sponsors will have the opportunity to showcase their products and present technical seminars while members will be able to meet face-to-face with our sponsors, PGA members, industry professionals and each other. A meeting for all current ICG members will also be held to give members a chance to meet the ICG Directors in person.
“The ICG Board of Directors is very excited to have been afforded this opportunity,” said Bob Dodds, vice president of the ICG Board of Directors. “We encourage all ICG members to make plans to attend the 2012 PGA Merchandise Show and help make the ICG Connection Center a success.”
Attracting more than 40,000 golf industry professionals from around the world and nearly 1,000 golf manufacturers, the PGA Merchandise Show is golf’s global business platform where industry leaders grow the business, participation and interest in golf.
