South Korea native KJ Choi won the Asian Tour’s inaugural C.J. Invitational, an event he hosted. It was KJ’s second victory of the season, the other being his victory at The Players Championship in May. Choi, the 14th ranked player in the world, recalled making a par putt on the 15th hole using his SuperStroke Fatso putter grip.
“That putt on 15 (for par), the pin has been in the middle all week. I knew the speed. I just hit it two feet inside and made it. It was very exciting. This first CJ Invitational and winning this, I’m very proud.”
This week also marked the final event on the PGA Tour. Played in Lake Buena Vista Florida, SuperStroke Golf ended the year strong by grabbing a couple more top 20 finishes at the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Classic. Leading the way for SuperStroke was a 3-time PGA winner who used a SuperStroke Slim Lite on his way to his second top 10 finish (T6) in the past 3 weeks.
With the PGA Tour season coming to a close, many great things can be taken from the years events. One thing worth noting is that the SuperStroke jumbo putter grips have become the most trusted jumbo putter grip on the PGA Tour.
