Shelton, CT – October 31, 2011 – Fairway & Greene® congratulates staffer Bo Van Pelt on his dominating victory at the CIMB Asia Pacific Classic in Malaysia. BVP entered the final round of the tournament with a one-shot lead which quickly grew to three strokes after back-to-back birdies on the third and fourth holes. Van Pelt pulled away on the back nine, with four birdies in five holes, posting a bogey-free final round of seven-under 64.
“I’ve watched other guys coming down 18 with a big lead and I thought, ‘That would be fun some day if I could do that,'” Van Pelt said. “And it was. I feel like the luckiest guy in the world. I get to do what I love to do for a living.”
