Golf Business Network Names Instructor Advisory Board

BEDMINSTER, NJ (November 11, 2011) – Golf Business Network (GBN), a leading provider of data and information for top golf professionals and instructors, has formed a Member Advisory Board for its Instructor Division. The board is comprised of 10 members representing wide geographic and facility diversity.

The board lends guidance to the GBN management team, including Bob Mulcahy, President and Lorin Anderson, who directs the GBN Instructor Division, by setting priorities for new member services, identifying relevant industry topics and trends that should be addressed by GBN educational materials and events and providing input on consulting services.

The current advisory board will serve through the end of 2012. At that time there will be an opportunity for other Instructor Division members to participate on the board.

Members of the Instructor Division Advisory Board through 2012 include:

• Todd Anderson, Sea Island Learning Center, Geo.

• Steve Atherton, GolfTEC, Colo.

• Mike Bender, Mike Bender Golf Academy, Fla.

• Henry Brunton, Henry Brunton Golf, Maple, Ontario, Canada

• Jeff Ritter, ASU Karsten GC, Ariz.

• David Phillips, Titleist Performance Institute, Calif.

• Trillium Sellers, Chevy Chase CC, Maryland

• Laird Small, Pebble Beach Golf Academy, Calif.

• Deb Vangellow, Sweetwater CC, Texas

GBN’s membership capacity is capped for each of its three divisions. The Golf Professional Division (head golf professionals and directors of golf) will be limited to 525 members. The Instructor Division will be capped at 350 members and the Assistant Professional Division (primarily comprised of first assistant professionals) will be capped at 250.

The company is committed to developing and implementing comprehensive services that provide innovative solutions to enhance both the game’s professionals and its facilities as the industry’s landscape continues to change. Through educational programs, management tools and business opportunities, GBN’s members receive ongoing guidance and support to deliver greater value to their clubs.
