Final round played on iconic Harbour Town, showcases premier Southeast leisure and business destination
(HILTON HEAD, S.C.) — The Sea Pines Resort — Hilton Head’s most distinguished retreat and home of iconic Harbour Town Golf Links — announces it will host The Golfe’s 2011 MEETING MASTERS Championship Nov. 30 – Dec. 4.
Now in its 28th year, the MEETING MASTERS Championship annually brings together meeting planners and hospitality industry professionals for networking opportunities and camaraderie through golf. The championship is the culmination of 30 – 40 sanctioned regional tournaments staged in the prior 12 months. Even though the winners of these events are the focus audience, all meeting / hospitality professionals are invited to participate this fall.
Legendary Harbour Town, home of PGA TOUR’s RBC Heritage, will host the final round of the event on Saturday, December 3. The Arthur Hills Course at Palmetto Hall and the Robert Trent Jones Course at Palmetto Dunes will hold preliminary rounds Dec. 1 – 2, respectively. Winners of The Golfe’s sanctioned regional competitions will receive four nights’ complimentary accommodations at Sea Pines (Nov. 30 – Dec. 4). All others receive a special rate of $120 per night.

The MEETING MASTERS registration fee for regional event meeting planner winners is $100 (members); $195 (non-members, includes membership fee). For all others the registration fee is $200 (members); $295 (non-members, includes membership fee). Meeting Planner winners are also waived the resort fee of 8 percent, which includes complimentary parking, Internet, bikes and tennis while staying at The Inn at Harbour Town. In the resort villas, the fee includes free Internet and parking.
