Orlando, Fla. (Nov. 15, 2011) – Renee Goergen has been named golf sales manager at Villas of Grand Cypress Golf Resort, Orlando’s premier golf resort. In this position, Goergen will work to attract groups of 12 or more golfers and facilitate golf outings for the resort’s corporate clients.
Goergen comes to Grand Cypress from PGA National Resort and Spa, where she spent the last five years as golf sales manager and where she began her passion for playing golf.
Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, she received her Bachelor of Science in Tourism and Recreation Management with a concentration in Tourism Marketing, Sports and Recreation Management from Niagara University in NY. A big sports fanatic, especially for Buffalo teams, she also worked as a game day promoter for Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Fla.
