Early registration savings available through December 1, 2011
PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – The PGA of America and PGA Golf Exhibitions announced today a comprehensive schedule of more than 50 seminars within the PGA Education Conference at the 2012 PGA Merchandise Show, January 26-28, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. Early registration savings of up to $50 are available at www.pgashow.com through December 1, 2011.
The PGA Education Conference will offer a new series of seminars on tactical applications and proven best practices to strengthen the golfing core, engage “lapsed” golfers and drive new players to the game. This series has been added to provide training and skill development in support of Golf 2.0, the new industry-wide, long-range strategic plan to grow the game in 2012 and beyond. The PGA Education Conference will include tracks on golf instruction, business fundamentals and professional development. Conference speakers will be successful PGA Professionals, proven business leaders and respected subject matter experts from golf, sports, finance and business sectors. PGA Professionals will earn one MSR credit for each completed seminar and may earn up to 30 education, service and meeting MSR credits during Show week.
PGA Professionals and industry leaders may take advantage of a savings incentive if registering by December 1, 2011. Advance savings registration for the Full Conference Pass is $425 for PGA Members and $450 for Non-PGA Members. Advance savings registration for the Single Day Pass is $280 for PGA Members and $300 for Non-PGA Members. After December 1, the Full Conference Pass is $475 for PGA Members and $500 for Non-PGA Members; and the Single Day Pass is $300 for PGA Members and $330 for Non-PGA Members. The PGA Education Conference is one of the attendee-rated most valued resources making a return to the PGA Merchandise Show. Other successful returning programs include Outdoor Demo Day (Jan. 25), the PGA Forum Stage for industry presentations, Indoor Demo Days at the Equipment Test Center, the Inventor’s Spotlight Pavilion, multiple New Product Zones and networking events. Additionally, the 95th PGA Annual Meeting will be held at the beginning of Show Week; the annual prestigious PGA Awards will be held Thursday, Jan. 26; and The PGA of America will conduct multiple membership programs.
Importantly, several new programs are being introduced at the 2012 PGA Merchandise Show. The launch of industry-wide Golf 2.0 Strategic Plan will be introduced by golf leaders on the PGA Forum stage as the keynote address to open the PGA Merchandise Show on Thursday, January 26, and will be featured across multiple Show platforms, including complimentary introductory programs for PGA Members within the PGA Member Business Center. Also, the new Business Leadership Series will be introduced and new Show Floor-featured destinations such as the Golf Business Solutions Zone, a Live Fashion E-Studio and the International Clubmakers Guild Connections Center will make a first appearance at the 2012 Show.

The 2012 PGA Merchandise Show, held January 26-28, in Orlando, Fla., will welcome some 1,000 top golf companies and brands and more than 40,000 industry professionals from around the world to the industry’s 59th annual global summit for the business of golf.
