Rancho Santa Margarita, CA – Michelle Dubé Golf teaching professional at the Tijeras Creek Golf Club has attained the designation of “Master Professional” by the LPGA. Of the over 30,000 members of the PGA and LPGA only 400 have attained that designation. Only 67 members of the LPGA have accomplished the feat.
As a Class A member of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional division Michelle qualified for the Master Professional title by satisfying the following criterion: She was a Class A member for over 10 years, completed over 300 certification units with the LPGA, and wrote a golf related thesis. She presented her thesis on October 13, 2011 at the Western Sectional Meeting of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional Division held at the Tijeras Creek Golf Club in Orange County.
About Michelle Dubé: After playing competitive golf on the mini-tour she turned to teaching golf and sharing her love of the game with others. For over 18 years she has been a golf instructor in California. The past ten years Michelle has been a sought after instructor at the Tijeras Creek Golf Club. She is recognized by her students and peers as one of the finest golf instructors in Southern California. Michelle continues to expand her teaching experience by taking seminars and workshops with some of the best known professionals in all of golf.
She enjoys teaching a wide range of students from beginners to scratch golfers. For the past several years she has also taught the Girls Golf Team at Santa Margarita High School. Michelle has also served in the past as the golf columnist for the Orange County Register.
