ORLANDO, Fla. (Dec. 1, 2011) – Golfweek today announced that Future Champions Golf will be the exclusive partner for the Western division of its popular Golfweek Junior Tour. Hosting a minimum of 16 competitive events across the Western U.S. in 2012, the Golfweek Junior Tour-West will hold its season opener Jan. 14-15 at Carlton Oaks Country Club in Santee, Calif.

Providing golfers ages 10-19 with the opportunity to gain valuable tournament experience while garnering national exposure, the Golfweek Junior Tour also extends beyond the Western region to include a full roster of Midwestern events. Members of the Golfweek Junior Tour are eligible to play in both Western- and Midwestern-based tournaments. All Golfweek Junior Tour events that meet national ranking criteria will be ranked by Golfweek.
