The awards were presented during the 2011 GCAA National Convention.
NCAA Division I Coach Josh Gregory of Augusta State University, NCAA Division II Coach Jason Owen of the California State University of Monterey Bay, NCAA Division III Coach Dirk Fennie of Greensboro College, NAIA Coach David Lynn of Oklahoma Christian University, NJCAA Division I Coach Mike Hagen of Indian Hills Community College and NJCAA Division II Coach Tom Ferris of John A. Logan College earned coach of the year honors for 2011.
