LAKE MARY, FL – LPGA Tour star Paula Creamer will appear in the International Network of Golf hospitality room at the PGA Merchandise Show as part of the ING Industry Honors Presentation Press Conference.
That event is set for Friday, January 27 in ClubING, the ING Hospitality Room in room 309-A. The awards presentation starts at 1 p.m., followed by Creamer’s Q&A at 1:30. All PGA Show attendees are invited to the Industry Honors presentation and the Q&A.
ING has been networking the golf industry since 1990. ING’s mission is to enhance and promote communication and education in golf. Media members of all types and sizes comprise approximately 35 percent of the membership. The remaining members are people from every aspect of the golf industry.
For the 19th year the ING Industry Honors program will honor 36 nominees in 12 business categories. Results from ING membership voting will be announced I such categories as business achievement, advertising, public relations, player development, golf course design and tournament service.
Creamer, representing TaylorMade-adidas Golf at the PGA Show, has been one of the most popular players on the LPGA Tour since breaking onto the scene in 2005 by winning the LPGA Rookie of the Year award. Among her 11 professional victories is the 2010 U.S. Open. She has also been a leader on four U.S. Solheim Cup teams, building a superb record of 11-3-5 in that span. Creamer is one of the most popular professional golfers in the world of endorsements as well.
ClubING, the ING Hospitality Room, will be open in room 309-A throughout the three-day gathering of the golf industry at the Orange County Convention Center. The golf industry is invited to drop in and see what all of the ING buzz is about.

Included in a busy ING schedule at the PGA Show will be two awards presentations. The 19th ING Media Awards will be announced at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 27. The 19th Annual ING Industry Honors will recognize achievement in a dozen categories at 1 p.m. on Friday, followed by the Creamer Q&A.
Also slated for ClubING will be two presentations by Jim Koppenhaver of Pellucid. His annual 2011 State of the Industry discussion will take place in two different sessions on Friday (times TBA). The Pellucid team will cover the basic metrics in the consumer base, rounds demand, supply absorption, weather impact and revenue for the golf industry, plus more.
Also on tap will be product displays, a Happy Hour Media Reception at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, and the introduction of several new membership programs and benefits.
ING will unveil plans for its 22nd ING Spring Conference, set for the recently renovated Embassy Suites Greenville Golf Resort & Conference Center in Greenville, S.C. May 20-24, 2012. Several new elements of the conference will be announced, including a revised format for educational sessions that will give attendees specific tools to improve their standing in the golf industry, and an exciting new golf format.
