Recently re-opened Palm Desert Country Club headlines roster of courses
ORLANDO, Fla., (Jan. 6, 2012) – Sixty new golf courses throughout the U.S. & Canada signed up to join GolfNow.com in December, offering golfers the chance to book exclusive tee times through the web site 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The courses join the more than 3,200 golf courses throughout North America and the U.K. already using GolfNow.com, the Internet’s largest and most comprehensive tee-time booking service which allows users to easily search for and book their tee times online.
Palm Desert Country Club, one of the more popular public courses in the Palm Springs, Calif., area over the years, celebrated its grand re-opening on New Year’s Day. The course, which first opened in 1962, closed in 2009 due to bankruptcy. Palm Desert C.C. joined GolfNow.com prior to the course’s grand opening on New Year’s Day. According to a recent article in the Palm Springs Desert Sun, the course had a successful grand opening on Jan. 1, with more than 180 golfers playing the 18-hole championship course.
