Engineers at Harrison Sports have developed the first USGA and R&A rules conforming accuracy boosting golf shaft insert of its kind. It’s a known fact that the most vulnerable part of the golf shaft is the tip section. Upon impacting golf ball, the shaft and particularly the tip section vibrates violently causing the shaft to bend into an “S” shape around the kick point.
The Shotmaker® was designed to help stabilize the tip section, as well as dampen impact vibration without altering the residual vibration, which translates into “feel.” By reducing both of these unwanted variables, golfers will experience a more stable feeling shaft upon impact and a noticeable decrease in side spin. Some of the by-products of side spin reduction are: decrease in back spin, longer carry, longer roll out, and a more stable and solid feel upon impact.
The Shotmaker® will tighten dispersion by up to 40% simply by inserting a 12-inch tube made of 100% Ultra Thin Ply (UTP) satellite grade graphite that weights only 4-grams inside a .335-inch tip diameter graphite driver shaft1. Presently, there are six (6) available flexes of inserts, which are fitted based on how a golfer loads their shaft in addition to club head speed.
