Phoenix based golf club cover manufacturer is delighted to be coming home.
“After many years of manufacturing overseas we are pleased and proud to be starting to manufacture here at home” said Jane Spicer, president of Daphne’s Headcovers. “We’ve been receiving requests from customers for smaller, special orders and are delighted to be able to make them in our Phoenix plant again.”
“It started with a few custom requests that had small quantities from some of our long time customers. Getting them made overseas didn’t make sense and we wanted to help our customers so we researched making them here and now it’s possible! I can’t tell you how good it feels to have some of our old sewing teams back and hear the whir of the machines in the factory again!” said Spicer.
The 32 year old company will introduce their new 2012 designs at the PGA show later this month in Orlando, Florida. Some of the new designs will be made in the U.S.A and marked and celebrated as such! Daphne’s Headcovers will also focus on creating custom projects in their Phoenix based factory as they continue to ramp up production. “Manufacturing at home allows us to help the customer that needs a smaller quantity. Our focus is create something sensational with Daphne’s exceptional quality, that’s made in the U.S and in line with smaller tournament and event needs ” said Spicer.
Each of the company’s headcovers exhibits the Daphne’s Difference. From conception to completion, each and every headcover is created with an eye on quality, function, form and attention to minute detail.
“Our company reputation is based on thirty two years of providing quality through custom designs and attention to the smallest details,” said Spicer. “All of our 200-plus headcover designs bear our factory phone number. We are so convinced of our quality that should anything ever go wrong with one of our products, we will fix or replace it at our expense.”
