Albatross, Mustang To Appear At PGA Show

January 11, 2012

(HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA) – Scheyden Precision Eyewear – the luxury market leader in lenses and frames for golf and other sporting activities – announces it will debut its Albatross and Mustang models at the 2012 PGA Merchandise Show, booth 1829, January 26-28 in Orlando, FL.

Co-designed by company founder Jeff Herold and renowned eyewear industry veteran Patrick Hussey, the Albatross and Mustang styles ($309 to $349) provide the ultimate in optical clarity and comfort. Albatross’ aviator-like frames are ideal for nearly every face type, while the Mustang’s navigator style better suits a medium to large fit.

In addition to the new designs on display, attendees are encouraged to stop by for custom fittings, daily specials and frame tune ups throughout the show.

“It’s obvious to anyone that vision is an integral part of the game,” says company founder Jeff Herold. “By using the world’s best materials, we’ve been able to create absolutely gorgeous glasses that reduce glare and allow golfers to see the things they need to see to be better players.”

Hand-ground and polished, the distortion-free glass lenses feature a hydrophobic coating to repel water and perspiration. Boasting several layers of magnesium hexafluoride, which diffuses ambient light and protects pupils from harsh reflections, the lenses include a scratch resistant finish and are offered with optional polarization.

In addition to the new models, the company’s product line includes the Composite Hybrids, titanium-frame Fixed Gear collection, Classic FlipUp styles and Dual RX designs for prescription users.

Designed and manufactured to exacting standards, Scheyden eyewear is ideal for precision activities. A favorite of professional golfers on the PGA, LPGA and Champions Tours, the evolutionary sunglasses are also the choice of military, commercial, private and aerobatic pilots -including the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds.
