(TORONTO) – Quagmire announces it will showcase Arnie – a new line directly inspired by Arnold Palmer’s classic looks from the 1950s, 60s and 70s – alongside the latest Quagmire Golf and Kids collections at Booth 6362 during the PGA Merchandise Show, Jan. 26-28 in Orlando, FL.
Presented in an entirely new booth concept with distinct presentation areas for each line, the collections will be highlighted by on-site promotions and sizzling graphics, including those of Mr. Palmer at his sartorial peak. The display will be complemented by images of the Arnie brand’s modern face, a top-ranked PGA Tour player and style icon to be announced this month.
“Orlando will be the culmination and kick-off of everything we’ve been working so hard to accomplish the past year-plus,” says Co-Founder and Creative Director Geoff Tait. “Thankfully, there’s still plenty of energy left to celebrate unveiling our new Tour star with great friends come show time!”
Collections details:
• Arnie: Released in three deliveries (50s, 60s, 70s) and a Timeless collection available year-round, each piece is inspired by styles and fits actually worn by Mr. Palmer in his heyday, yet crafted from modern materials.
• Quagmire Golf: Spring 2012 marks the return of classic Quag details, like the crooked pocket and placket, that started a movement of golf-centric street and skate looks for men and women. Additional highlights include new reversible shorts and shirts that provide a crazy 2-for-1 value, striped sweatshirts, color-dipped items, hip polos, skirts, pants, ColorFusion tops and accessories.
• Quagmire Kids: Following a highly successful first year, the latest kids collection offers an expanded selection of shirts, shorts, dresses, skirts, hoodies and accessories for boys and girls that want to rule recess! New for this year are super-cool ColorFusion screen print t-shirts with sporty and girly themes that change color in UV light.
“Buzz around Arnie and the new Quag styles, especially the color-shifting Fusion pieces, has been crazy good so we’re amped to share them with everyone,” says Bobby Pasternak, Co-Founder and Sales Director. “Early response from customers, consumers and the media has been off the hook!”
