CARLSBAD, Calif. (January 12, 2012) – TaylorMade Golf Company today announced that Justin Leonard has joined the TaylorMade Tour Staff. Leonard, a 12-time PGA Tour winner and the 1997 Open Champion and 1998 Players Champion, played an R11 driver, RBZ Tour 3-wood, Tour Preferred MB Irons, xFT wedges and a PENTA TP golf ball in the opening round of the Sony Open. Leonard also debuted a TaylorMade Staff bag and hat.

In 1999 he became part of Ryder Cup lore by holing a 45-foot birdie putt on the 17th hole at The Country Club in his singles match, which clinched the half-point that allowed the U.S. to retain the Cup.
