Leading golf instructor David Leadbetter to headline popular golf festival
ORLANDO, Fla. (Jan. 19, 2012) – Golfweek’s Golfest, presented by Transitions Championship, is bringing its popular demo day and golf festival back to Tampa Bay Downs Golf Practice Facility Feb. 18-19. With a portion of the proceeds benefiting Future Champions Golf Tour and The First Tee, Golfweek’s Golfest Tampa allows golfers to not only try and buy golf’s hottest new equipment, but also enjoy exciting Main Stage entertainment from golf gurus like headliner David Leadbetter.
“The purpose of the Golfweek’s Golfest series has always been about making the sport accessible to golfers of all ages and skill levels, which is why these events continue to draw people in year after year,” said Armand Cimaroli, Golfweek director of events. “Our 2011 debut in Tampa was a huge success, and thanks to David (Leadbetter) and the support of our partners, this year’s Golfest is sure to top it.”
In addition to checking out the latest gear, Golfweek’s Golfest attendees will have the opportunity to:
