Veteran hires bring wealth of experience as company expands services
(SCOTTSDALE, AZ) – Boccieri Golf – maker of award-wining equipment such as the Tour-proven Heavy Putter – announces the hiring of Chuck Wesley and Blake Isakson as Chief Financial Officer and Director of Business Development, respectively.
With years of experience in the finance and golf industries, Wesley and Isakson will help create and implement strategies to capitalize on Boccieri Golf’s strong global reputation. The company, which recently relocated to Arizona, has received worldwide acclaim for its premium golf club designs featuring innovative, game-improving technologies. In early 2012, Boccieri Golf will be opening a state-of-the-art Research and Performance Center in Scottsdale.
“We have embarked on a new and exciting phase in our company’s history and the additions of Chuck and Blake provide us with the influx of talent to help ensure success,” says Stephen Boccieri, President and CEO. “They are consummate professionals with tremendous drive and the ability to take Boccieri Golf to even greater heights.”
A highly-regarded finance and leadership professional, Wesley previously worked with General Motors, Merrill Lynch, Capital Cities/ABC, Miller Freeman, Cap Gemini, Oracle Corporation and MediaBank, among others. Isakson is a former NJCAA All-American golfer with a degree in finance from Arizona State University. He recently spearheaded a number of successful initiatives designed to grow the game of golf in the Phoenix/Scottsdale community.
The forthcoming Research and Performance Center will feature Boccieri Golf representatives using cutting-edge technology to precisely analyze golfers’ swing characteristics and prescribe equipment for optimal performance. Also available will be Science and Motion (SAM) Puttlab analysis, a training system providing accurate ultrasound measurements for invaluable data on the putting stroke. This tool helps determine which models are best suited for each individual.
Operating under the direction of Stephen Boccieri, the new R&D laboratory will focus on conceiving and testing groundbreaking concepts. Products which meet the company’s exceptionally high standards for commercialization may be added to the Boccieri Golf portfolio or become part of licensing partnerships with other original equipment manufacturers and retailers.

About Boccieri Golf
Founded in 2005 by Stephen Boccieri, the company’s popular Heavy Putter collection and Control Series line of full-swing products were the first to integrate counterweight principals. This unique approach to club design is proven to benefit golfers of all skill levels, as strategically placed weight in the butt-end of the shaft produces a higher balance point to promote smoother, more repeatable swings from driver through putter.
Boccieri Golf equipment has played a key role in victories on the PGA, European, Champions, Nationwide, Asian, Canadian and European Challenge Tours. In addition, its products have received vast critical acclaim, including the Control Series being honored as the “Most Surprising New Clubs” at the 2011 PGA Show by GOLF Magazine.
In late 2011, the company announced the relocation of its corporate headquarters and operations to Scottsdale, AZ where it will soon open a state-of-the-art Research and Performance Center in a 9,000 square-foot facility located at 15816 N. Greenway-Hayden Loop.
