January 17, 2012 – Oakbrook Terrace, IL – You asked for it, we’ve done it. Zero Friction™ has recreated their packaging for the middle of the 2012 season making the different product lines easier to identify.
Going along with the sleek performance look, Zero Friction™ has rebranded their performance tee packaging to call out the specific product lines more clearly for consumers, while still showcasing the Zero Friction logos and the status of Official Licensed Merchandise of the PGA TOUR™.
The 3-prong, original Zero Friction tee, will now featured under the name ZFTour. The choice in name is because the original tee is the No. 1 Performance Tee on the PGA TOUR™. Originally introduced in 2005, the ZFTour has over 70 PGA TOUR™ victories and over 300 top-ten finishes. The key to the ZFTour is to place one prong at the target, allowing for most club to ball contact as possible.
Moving into the 4-prong, the ZFXtreme creates a stable area for ball placement, while offering a unique performance design. The unique name was developed by president of Zero Friction™ John Iacono. “I came up with the name because the word xtreme has a performance feel, and the x looks like our tee, so it was a perfect fit.” The performance design is enhanced by placing the prongs away from the target, the ZFXtreme allows for the most club to ball contact of any tee in the marketplace today. Not to mention, that the ZFXtreme rated the highest among independent testing in carry distance, total distance and least dispersion compared to other golf tees.
Finally, the ZFVictory is the newest addition to the Zero Friction line. The Zero Friction Victory is a 5-prong tee, and with V being the roman number for five, it seemed like a perfect fit for a name. The ZFV offers increased ball stability with the performance benefits of all Zero Friction pronged tees. Like the ZFT, for best results, place one prong at the target, allowing for the most club to ball contact.
The sleek designed package will showcase each product lines name on a banner across the front, and will also feature a larger version of the name across the back of the package. The packaging also calls out how many prongs each product has to ensure you pick up the one you are looking for.
