PLANO, TEXAS, January 23, 2012 – Adams Golf (Nasdaq: ADGF) is pleased to announce the signing of Caroline Hedwall to its tour staff. Hedwall, the 2011 Ladies European Tour (LET) Player of the Year, will be playing a full bag of Adams clubs, including the Speedline Fast 12 LS driver, Speedline Fast 12 fairway wood, the Idea Super XTD hybrid and the Idea Pro a12 irons. She’s already had success with her new clubs having played them during her latest win at the Hero Women’s Indian Open on December 11, 2011.

“I was thrilled to test the new Adams clubs knowing that many great players were already playing and having success with the product,” said Hedwall. “I gained 16 yards with the Fast 12 driver and immediately put the product in play the next week. With the win a few weeks later, it obviously paid off quickly. The performance, the look and the feel is exactly what I was looking for and I’m excited about this new partnership.”

Hedwall finished her collegiate golf career at Oklahoma State University by winning the 2010 NCAA Championship and being named that year’s Player of the Year. She then went on to win the LET Qualifying School by nine strokes.

That momentum from college continued into her rookie season as she won the 2011 New South Wales Open Championship in her very first start. She went on to win four times in 2011 on the LET including the Allianz Ladies Slovak Open Championship, the Finnair Masters, the UNIQA Ladies Open Championship, and the aforementioned Hero Women’s Indian Open.

After her successful 2011 campaign Hedwall was named the 2011 LET Rookie of the Year and LET Player of the Year. She was the first player in the history of the tour to take home both honors in the same year. In addition to her tournament victories and awards, Caroline’s biggest moment of the year might have come at the Solheim Cup where she was two down with two holes to play and was able to fight back and earn one-half point that allowed the European team to win the cup.

“Caroline’s impressive resume speaks for itself and she’s just getting started,” said Chip Brewer, President and CEO of Adams Golf. “She’s a tremendous talent, an even nicer person, and a perfect addition to the Adams Golf LPGA Tour Staff which may well be the best in golf. Caroline will help us grow the Adams Golf brand around the world. In turn, we hope to help her achieve her goals, on and off the course.”

Hedwall will compete on both the LPGA Tour and the LET in 2012. Along with playing Adams clubs, she will also carry an Adams Golf staff bag and wear headwear featuring the Adams Golf logo.
