Real-Time Scoring Enterprise Application Founder Is One Of 35 Presenters
January 25, 2012; Charlotte, N.C. – Grow The Game Golf (GTG), powered by Status4 Technology, today announced that Adam Zeck, founder and chief operations officer, gave a presentation on the revolutionary smartphone application and event management system that enables live scoring in a variety of formats at the Node Summit in San Francisco, Calif., which took place Jan. 24-25.
The Node Summit was organized to bring together web developers who use node.js, a new, popular platform for building applications. GTG utilizes node.js, which helps enable its easy implementation and low impact on a mobile device’s battery life. GTG is one of 35 companies presenting at the two-day conference, with Google, Microsoft, Intel and Yahoo being among the other presenters.
“We are at the forefront of being able to use this program language in a unique technology application,” said Zeck, a former Chicago-based commodities spread trader who developed the proprietary process of delivering mobile enterprise applications to various mobile and non-mobile devices.
Live scoring, via GTG Golf, can be accessed through a web-connected computer and through a cross-platform smartphone application using mobile devices (iPhone, Android, and Blackberry) and through non-mobile devices including iPad, iTouch and Samsung Galaxy Tab.
GTG uses a web-based golf event management system and a cross-platform smart phone application. Each component is in constant communication with the other, providing the user with the most accurate, real-time scoring, live leaderboard and event management application.
