ORLANDO, FL (January 26, 2012)- GolfTalk Live host Tony Leodora is attending his 21st consecutive PGA Merchandise Show in Florida and will be providing his listeners with some of the most comprehensive coverage of the annual meeting of all facets of the golf industry.
GolfTalk Live, the award-winning weekly radio show in Philadelphia, will feature an inside look at the PGA Merchandise Show this week, Saturday January 28, with interviews from some of the biggest names in the game. Interviews with Nick Faldo, LPGA Tour phenom Lexi Thompson and 2010 U.S. Women’s Open champion Paula Creamer are highlights of the one-hour show.
In addition, there will be some inside information and reaction to the more than 1,000 exhibitors at the Show this week.
Next week, Saturday February 4, Leodora will unveil one of GolfTalk Live’s most interesting features of the year — “Tony’s Top Ten.” It is his annual list of the Top Ten new products that he discovered after miles of marching up and down the aisles of the cavernous Orange County Convention Center, annual home of the PGA Merchandise Show.
“The PGA Merchandise Show is the annual beginning of the new golf season for the golf industry,” explains Leodora. “It is anticipated for months before, and talked about for months after. These next two shows are a special look inside the golf industry.”
GolfTalk Live airs 52 weeks a year from 7 to 8 a.m. each Saturday on WNTP 990-AM and on www.wntp.com. It also can be heard any time during the week after the show airs, by going to the website, www.golftalklive.net. For the second time in the last three years, GolfTalk Live was voted the Best Golf Radio Show in America by the International Network of Golf.
