Alexandria, VA – January 31, 2012 – The Club Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2012 Willmoore H. Kendall Scholarships:
• David Banks, The Club at Natomas Park, Sacramento, CA;
• Andrew Cornesky, San Diego Yacht Club, San Diego, CA;
• Alexandra Dixon, Lake Toxaway Country Club; Lake Toxaway, NC; and
• Robert A. Parody, Sea Pines Country Club, Hilton Head Island, SC.
The Club Foundation established the Willmoore H. Kendall Scholarship in memory of CMAA Past President Bill Kendall. The scholarship provides tuition support to mid-management professionals who are interested in pursuing the Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation. Recipients of this valuable scholarship receive the tuition costs associated with CMAA’s Business Management Institutes (BMI) including BMI I, BMI II, BMI III, BMI Food and Beverage or BMI Golf Management (if required for certification eligibility) and the Certification Review Course and other CCM associated fees.
