“Golfers playground” promises significant on-course improvement for players throughout the Southland
Centennial, Colo. (February 3, 2012) – GolfTEC, the world leader in golf improvement, is opening its largest indoor high-tech improvement center in Huntington Beach, Calif.
Since 1995, GolfTEC has given more than 3,200,000 lessons at 150 improvement centers in North America, helping golfers shoot lower scores and have more fun on the golf course.
The Huntington Beach GolfTEC center is celebrating its new digs with a grand opening party on Wednesday, Feb. 8, from 5-8 p.m. at its bigger location, 15811 Graham St. The party will mark the debut of the center’s three teaching bays and 1,700-square foot short-game area. Golfers are invited to check out the center, bring a friend and participate in clinics, contests and more.
“We are proud to be the first GolfTEC center to provide such a 360-degree game improvement center, which is available day and night and the temperature is always perfect,” said Forrest Blake, owner of the Huntington Beach venue. “With more than 4,000 square feet of space, we are excited to expand our lesson programs to include corporate and private events.”
All GolfTEC lessons are taught one-on-one in private, indoor bays that maximize the learning experience. GolfTEC utilizes proprietary teaching technology and the skills of its Certified Personal Coaches to help golfers improve their skills and increase enjoyment of the game.
We are happy to announce that Andy Thuney has joined our GolfTEC coaching staff in Huntington Beach. A member of the Southern California Section PGA Hall of Fame, Thuney will be on hand at the grand opening party to demonstrate the company’s “Proven Path” to maximum improvement and lasting results.
The key is GolfTEC’s proprietary g-SWING system, which combines digital video with motion measurement, capturing body positions at 24 different points throughout the swing. A simple color-coded display guides instruction and reinforces swing changes.
“Golfers in Los Angeles deserve the best golf instruction available,” Thuney said, “and that’s what the new improvement center will give them. We’re the first GolfTEC of this size, and we’ve packed it with the latest and greatest talent and technology to help every golfer play better and have more fun.”
The lesson doesn’t end at the center’s doors. Using the personalized, online Player Performance Center, every student can review his lessons-including full video and the coach’s instructions-anytime and anywhere over the internet.
