CHICAGO, Illinois (February 6, 2012) – The Daily Herald Main Stage at this year’s Chicago Golf Show will feature Tour-quality headliners along with an excellent roster of some of the area’s top instructors.
Former Masters champion Craig Stadler – also known as “The Walrus” for his thick, shaggy mustache and his rotund-yet-lithe body type – will participate in a question-answer session on the Main Stage on both Saturday and Sunday. The winner of the 1982 Masters will be exhibiting his Walrus Wear Apparel line in a booth at this year’s show.
The 2011 Champions Tour Comeback Player of the Year Chip Beck will perform on the Main Stage on Friday afternoon. The three-time U.S. Ryder Cup team member also was only the second player ever to shoot the iconic score of 59 during a PGA TOUR event. Beck will be exhibiting his new Grip Guides product in a booth at the show.
Mark Murphy, recent winner of Big Break Ireland, the Golf Channel’s popular reality show competition, will be on stage Friday and Saturday discussing the pressures and behind-the-scenes drama on the program.
