The A Position Introduces Next Installment Of Golf Road Warriors; Journalists “Go Hollywood” In Palm Springs

Portland, Ore. (Feb. 16, 2012) – The A Position.com continues its popular Golf Road Warriors series-an interactive multi-platform golf adventure-with a visit to Palm Springs Feb 21-27. The newly-designed Golf Road Warriors website launches on Feb. 17. Visitors to the site will have a chance to win a golf sweepstakes prize package worth more than $5,000.

Four journalists and a videographer will create and broadcast daily original content via a collection of websites, social media, podcasts, and radio that will be further disseminated by sponsor partners. The content will include short travelogues, videos, and reviews of courses, hotels, restaurants, and other attractions, as well as the observations of four seasoned golf journalists.

Sponsors for Golf Road Warriors: Palm Springs include:

*Palm Springs Desert Resort Communities Convention and Visitors Authority, which represents the eight cities of the Palm Springs area;

*Callaway Golf, one of the top brands in the golf industry, manufacturing clubs, shoes, balls, and other products;

*Travelpro®, the inventor of Rollaboard® luggage and the choice of flight crews and frequent travelers;

*Grow The Game Golf, the first real-time scoring, live-event leaderboard and event-management system available on a smartphone;

*AUR Apparel, manufacturer of high-fashion golf wear with a low impact on the environment;

*US Airways Magazine, which will publish feature-length stories about all Golf Road Warrior trips.

The Golf Road Warriors will field-test sponsor products on the road and at Palm Springs-area golf facilities such as The Classic Club, La Quinta Resort/PGA West, Indian Wells Golf Resort, and others, reporting their findings in real time.

Golf Road Warriors: Palm Springs will follow renowned broadcaster and golf historian Peter Kessler and writers Jay Stuller, John Strawn, and Jeff Wallach as they play golf, travel, sip, dine, and smoke through one of America’s hippest, old-school, and most “Hollywood” golf destinations.
