Anaheim, CA — The winner of the ACE Group Classic played two OZIK hM3 hybrids on his way to an impressive 20 under par win, which tied him for the record for the largest margin of victory set in 1999. He also came close to the record for most birdies set in a 54-hole event, with 24 total birdies.
The hM3 is the hybrid model of the OZIK M3, which is one of MATRIX’s two new next-generation OZIK branded metalwood shafts. The M3 features MATRIX’s patented, industry leading HD technology to increase stability without increasing weight. The M3 along with the RUL have recently been released and seen strong usage on Tour, while a third next-generation OZIK shaft is scheduled to be released this summer.
According to MATRIX Director of Tour Operations, Joe Miera, “The ability of the OZIK M3 to perform well for professionals on multiple Tours is proof that the Black Tie is fast becoming a tour proven, world class winner. MATRIX engineers every shaft to provide consistent results for players of every level.”
