LAKE MARY, FL (Feb. 29, 2012) – Golf equipment and training companies will have products on display for testing and review during the Demo Lab at the 22nd Annual ING Spring Conference May 20-24 at the Embassy Suites Golf Resort & Conference Center in Greenville, SC.
Anyone in the golf industry or media is invited to attend the conference, conducted by the non-profit International Network of Golf, where media and the golf industry connect. Industry executives from companies large and small, and from every segment of the industry, will join golf media of all types at this annual gathering.
The Demo Lab will attract a variety of companies who set up on the range or putting green with their most recent products. Attendees then pass through, trying the new products, doing interviews and sharing opinions.
The Demo Lab occurs on Tuesday, May 22, at 2:30 pm at the Preserve at Verdae Golf Club practice area. The Preserve is the Willard Byrd-designed course at Embassy Suites Golf Resort.
The Demo Lab follows the ING One-On-One Appointment Show, a series of 15-minute pre-scheduled meetings between golf businesses and members of the media. That popular event runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“The ING Demo Lab and the Appointment Show really level the playing field for the smaller companies,” said Razor Golf’s George Baker. “We receive the same space allotment and promotion as the bigger companies. We’ve been going to ING for about 10 years now, and it has been a huge success for our equipment company.”
The ING Spring Conference features four days of product presentation, networking, education, golf and business-building opportunities.
The focus of this year’s conference is Digital Media and Marketing. A blue ribbon panel will share expertise in various aspects of digital media on the first full day of the event, followed by a Q&A. There will also be more personal, hands-on sessions during the conference.
The ING Conference schedule is jammed with educational, networking and product display opportunities. Other highlights:
1) The ever-popular One-On-One Appointment Show, a series of private meetings between exhibitors and media to open lines of communication, create unique promotional programs, gather story materials and build relationships.
2) The Demo Lab will feature companies large and small displaying their latest equipment and training gear on the practice range and green.
3) Education and self-improvement programs galore.
4) Lots of golf events, including the World Golfers Championship National Qualifier, from which five winners will advance to compete in the WGC National Championship in the Fall.
Those interested in attending may do so by visiting www.inggolf.com and clicking on Spring Conference. An electronic registration process is available.
