Alexandria, VA – March 1, 2012 – At the 85th World Conference and Club Business Expo, February 24-28 in New Orleans, LA, members of the Club Managers Association of America elected the 2012 Officers and Board of Directors.
Lawrence J. “Skip” Avery, CCM (Certified Club Manager), CCE (Certified Club Executive), General Manager/Chief Operating Officer of Fox Chapel Golf Club, Pittsburgh, PA, was elected President; Richard H. Bayliss Jr., CCM, CCE, Chief
Operating Officer of The Lost Tree Club, North Palm Beach, FL, was elected Vice President; and Damon J. DiOrio, CCM, CCE, Chief Executive Officer of Charlotte Country Club, Charlotte, NC, was elected Secretary-Treasurer.
Re-elected as directors to three-year terms were:
*William E. Langley, CCM, Vice President/Managing Director of The Club at Carlton Woods, The Woodlands, TX;
* Michael J. McCarthy, General Manager/Chief Executive Officer of Addison Reserve Country Club, Delray Beach, FL; and
*Jill R. Philmon, CCM, CCE, General Manager/Chief Operating Officer of Ballantyne Country Club, Charlotte, NC.
Elected as director to a one-year term was:
