SEATTLE (Feb. 29, 2012) – The past year proved to be a memorable one for Cutter & Buck’s Ryan Nolz. Ryan was recently named the company’s 2011 Salesperson of the Year, capping a busy year that coincided with the birth of his first child.
“It’s pretty cool; it was a special year,” said Nolz, whose new son, Hudson, was born in July. “You could say I had some extra motivation for a big sales year knowing we had our first child on the way.”
This is not the first time Nolz has been singled out by the company for excellence. With a 14-year tenure at Cutter & Buck, Ryan was previously named Rookie of the Year for Cutter & Buck Corporate Sales in 2002. Based in Hermosa Beach, Calif., Nolz’ territory encompasses central California and much of southern California.
Growing up in Redmond, a suburb of Seattle, Nolz was well aware of Cutter & Buck, which was founded here in 1989 and recently unveiled a new brand identity, “Genuine Spirit of the Pacific Northwest.” Nolz went on to graduate from Washington State University in 1998 and joined Cutter & Buck immediately thereafter.
