SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation announced today they will serve as the sole presenting sponsor of the Pinehurst Intercollegiate, a signature event for collegiate golfers. The Pinehurst Intercollegiate, presented by Golf Pride, is an annual invitational championship with top Division I collegiate teams competing for the prestigious title.

Competition will begin with practice rounds Friday, March 9, and continue until the Championship closes on Sunday, March 11. Schedules, field list, players, tee times, results, and live scoring will be posted on the Pinehurst website (www.pinehurst.com) the week of the championship. Teams competing in this year’s event include, defending champion, UNC Wilmington, Virginia Tech, Penn State, Virginia Commonwealth, UNC Greensboro, Richmond, Marshall, Old Dominion, Belmont, Eastern Kentucky, Villanova, and Ball State.
