Former Nike Golf, TaylorMade-Adidas Golf executive to manage growth of OptiShot Infrared Simulator in overseas markets
(TRAVERSE CITY, MI) – Dancin’ Dogg Golf – maker of the award-winning OptiShot Infrared Simulator, the ultimate in-home virtual golf system – announces that Joe Moses has joined the company as Vice President of International Sales.
Relying on his more than 30 years of high-level golf industry experience, Moses will manage the company’s expansion in key overseas territories, including the United Kingdom, continental Europe, Australia and Asia. Prior to joining Dancin’ Dogg, Moses served as a senior executive with TaylorMade-adidas Golf, Nike Golf and Dunlop Slazenger Corp.
“Lasting friendships and a passion for the game are the cornerstones of Joe’s exceptional track record, which includes bringing Tiger Woods to Nike and leading TaylorMade’s rise to No. 1 on Tour,” says Dancin’ Dogg CEO Brandon Theophilus. “His acumen and network of contacts are major assets as we leverage exceptional domestic sell-through into partnerships with the right retailers and distributors worldwide.”
Dancin’ Dogg Golf was recently ranked one of America’s fast-growing entrepreneurial companies by Inc. Magazine, placing No. 358 on the prestigious Inc. 500 list for 2011. This honor was based on the company’s 951.2% revenue growth from 2007 through 2010.
OptiShot (MSRP: $399.95) connects with Windows computers via a plug-and-play interface and requires only 8-½ feet of swing space. With their own clubs, up to four players per round can compete by hitting real balls, foam balls (provided) or no ball at all. Infrared sensors on a durable swing pad precisely record club-head speed, face angle, swing path, distance, tempo, face contact and ball flight. In addition to Core courses that come with the system, OptiShot users can practice and compete on the par-3 option or a realistic driving range.
“The level of excitement surrounding OptiShot at the PGA Merchandise Show sealed my desire to join this great team,” says Moses. “With superior graphics, a user-friendly interface and a price point that’s a fraction of competing simulators, the elements are in place for rapid and sustained growth abroad.”
