Louisville, Ky. – Bionic is a glove brand that continues to lead the way in technology and growth. Building on its history (and looking to the future), the company announced today a new logo and tagline that better represent the forward-thinking brand.
Bionic’s updated logo captures the athletic spirit of the brand and feels more modern and iconic. Because Bionic Glove Technology focuses on gloves – and the hands that fill them – the symbol to the left of the logo is representative of both the letter “B” and a gripping, gloved hand. Its positioning at an angle adds a dynamic aspect to the logo that is reflective of Bionic’s innovative approach to creating performance-enhancing gloves. The tag line “Super. Human. Performance.” aims to clearly communicate the points of differentiation of the glove, including the premium quality and the patented performance technology that are the essence of the brand.
“Our logo was developed more than a decade ago, when the Bionic name was first introduced to the market,” says Cheryl Fink, Bionic’s marketing director. “The new logo and tagline are reflective of our growth, especially as we continue to enhance and improve the product.”
Fink also noted that Bionic continues to focus solely on gloves. “We’re the hand experts. No one knows as much about the technology behind gloves and how that relates to hand performance during an activity, like golf, than we do.”
The logo and tagline will be seen immediately in advertising and marketing, and will begin to show up in packaging and on product throughout the season.
“It’s not an instant switch,” said Fink. “It will be a soft transition as we work through the manufacturing process as well as the existing inventory. We are working hard to make it happen as quickly as possible.”
Bionic launched all new packaging designs last summer, and the new logo and tagline changes are enhancements to the earlier adjustments.
