Through March 31, all visitors receive free putter fitting and new secret grip
(SCOTTSDALE, AZ) – Boccieri Golf – maker of award-wining equipment such as the Tour-proven Heavy Putter – announces the opening of its state-of-the-art Research and Performance Center at 15816 N. Greenway-Hayden Loop in Scottsdale, where all visitors through March 31 will receive a free putter fitting and sample of the company’s new Secret Grip.
Coinciding with significant growth in demand for the entire portfolio of innovative Boccieri Golf products, the new 9,000 square-foot facility offers a variety of services for local and visiting golfers, including but not limited to:
• Custom Club Fitting – Using the latest TrackMan, Foresight and Vector Pro launch monitors, Boccieri Golf representatives precisely analyze golfers’ swing characteristics and prescribe equipment for optimal performance; available in a variety of packages that cover every club in the bag
• Science and Motion (SAM) Puttlab Analysis – Accurate ultrasound measurements of a player’s putting stroke are relayed to experienced fitters who use the data to determine specific putter characteristics that will improve performance; available for standard, belly and other long-shafted models
• High-tech Lessons – Renowned instructors use video analysis to create full player evaluations
“This latest expansion of our business allows us to continue helping people improve their games by working hands-on with the die-hard golfing community in and around Scottsdale,” says Stephen Boccieri, President and CEO of Boccieri Golf. “With the Research and Performance Center we’ve created a true equipment think tank where creative ideas will flourish and new concepts will be tested and brought to fruition.”
Operating under the direction of Stephen Boccieri, the new R&D laboratory will build on the company’s tradition of producing groundbreaking equipment. Products which meet its exceptionally high standards for commercialization may be added to the Boccieri Golf portfolio or become part of licensing partnerships with other top equipment manufacturers and retailers.
Boccieri Golf relocated its headquarters to Scottsdale in late 2011, following six successful years in Ridgefield, CT, where the company established itself as one of the golf industry’s most forward thinking brands. Its popular Heavy Putter collection and “Control Series” line of full-swing products were the first to integrate counterweight principals.
New for 2012, the company’s Secret Grip represents a technological breakthrough within its category. It was named among the “Top Products from the 2012 PGA Show” by both Golf Digest and GOLF Magazine, among others. Features/benefits include:
• Patented grip compound 40 percent heavier than standard, plus tungsten weight in the butt-end raises a club’s balance point, promoting consistently crisp contact, greater control and distance
• Easy to install on clubs produced by any manufacturer for an instant boost in performance
• Total grip length one-inch longer than standard, allowing players to choke-down further for improved play around the green or uneven lies
• Built-up lower section often preferred by PGA Tour players makes additional grip tape wrapping obsolete

About Boccieri Golf
Founded in 2005 by Stephen Boccieri, the company’s popular Heavy Putter collection and Control Series line of full-swing products were the first to integrate counterweight principals. This unique approach to club design is proven to benefit golfers of all skill levels, as strategically placed weight in the butt-end of the shaft produces a higher balance point to promote smoother, more repeatable swings from driver through putter.
Boccieri Golf equipment has played a key role in victories on the PGA, European, Champions, Nationwide, Asian, Canadian and European Challenge Tours. In addition, its products have received vast critical acclaim from a variety of respected golf and lifestyle media outlets.
