NORTHBROOK, Ill. – March 20, 2012 – KemperSports, a leading golf course management company, recently announced Vince Juarez as General Manager of Fox Lake Country Club in Fox Lake, Ill. Fox Lake is an 18-hole daily-fee golf facility established in 1925 and owned by the Petrungaro family.
Prior to joining KemperSports, Juarez served as Head Golf Professional and General Manager of Antioch Golf Club, a daily-fee facility in Antioch, Ill. Besides overseeing all clubhouse departments, Juarez’s accomplishments included increasing profitability by 300%, overseeing construction of a new clubhouse, selling and running over 75 events a year and developing and maintaining both a junior golf program and ladies developmental program.
“Vince is a great addition to our company,” said KemperSports chief executive officer Steve Skinner. “His 15 years of experience in the golf industry and proven leadership skills will be a tremendous asset at Fox Lake.”
Juarez began his career in the golf industry in 1996 as an Assistant Golf Professional at Cress Creek Country Club, a private facility in Naperville, Ill. After five years at Cress Creek, Juarez began his eleven year-tenure at Antioch Golf Club, where he managed a thriving daily-fee facility with more than 29,000 rounds a year. These two positions provided a variety of experience as Juarez gained valuable knowledge in both the private and public golf industry.
