The Copperhead course at the Innisbrook Resort was the sight for the Transitions Championship on the PGA Tour. SuperStroke jumbo putter grips could be seen throughout the week with 3 players landing in the top 25. Leading the way was a former Auburn Tiger, runner up at the 2011 PGA Championship, who finished tied for 10th. The 36-hole leader continues to use his SuperStroke Slim Lite, earning his second top 10 finish of the season.
Over on the west coast, the Champions Tour made a stop to Newport Country Club, home of the Toshiba Classic where SuperStroke jumbo putter grips were played by 4 of the top 25 finishers. The 17″ Slim Lite belly grip was the most used SuperStroke putter grip for the week. Since its release, it has been seen weekly on the Champions Tour and the demand for it has exceeded expectations.
“We knew offering a 17″ belly grip with our technology would be a player favorite as soon as it was released,” said Dean Dingman, President of SuperStroke Golf. “Players at the TOUR level demand the best and that’s why the top players in the world are choosing SuperStroke week after week.”
SuperStroke Golf has continued to help TOUR players achieve more confidence and better results on the greens with their patented grip technology. On the year, SuperStroke putter grips have helped earn just under $4 million for TOUR players using SuperStroke grips.
