Fans Given Chances to Win Golf Gear through ‘Feherty Show’ Facebook Page
ORLANDO, Fla. (March 20, 2012) – Golf Channel’s hit primetime series, Feherty, today launches Feherty Sweepstakes on Facebook, allowing fans to test their wits Feherty-style and participate in fun activities for chances to win Cobra PUMA Golf equipment and merchandise.
The 15-week sweepstakes will feature three different phases lasting five weeks each through July 2. To participate, fans must log on to www.Facebook.com/FehertyShow and “like” the Feherty Show Facebook page.
Three weekly winners will be selected at random to receive one of three Cobra Golf clubs – a COBRA Baffler 3-Wood, COBRA Baffler 4-Hybrid or a COBRA Trusty Rusty Wedge. Ten weekly runners-up will receive golf hats courtesy of Cobra PUMA Golf.
The three different phases of the Feherty Sweepstakes include:
• “Caption This…” (March 20-April 23) – The “Caption This…” phase will allow participants to enter captions for a weekly photo of David Feherty on the Feherty Show Facebook page. After entering a caption, fans will be automatically entered into the sweepstakes.
• “Where’s Frank?” (April 23- May 28) – Frank is David Feherty’s stuffed rooster sidekick that is showcased in select episodes of the series. Frank will be featured at specific landmarks each week. By accessing the Feherty Show’s Facebook page, participants may guess the rooster’s location. Guessing correctly will enter the participant in the sweepstakes.
• “Feherty Yourself” (May 28- July 2) – The “Feherty Yourself” phase allows fans to upload photos of themselves, having the opportunity to superimpose their faces on Feherty’s for a one-of-a-kind look. Each upload will automatically enter fans into the weekly drawings.
The Feherty series on Golf Channel, has been called “a cross between Oprah Winfrey and Johnny Carson” by The New York Times, “must-see TV” by the Orange County Register, and “a show that has all the ingredients to be a breakout hit” byThe Augusta Chronicle. The series airs Monday nights 10 ET.
