(BLACK MOUNTAIN, NC) – Black Mountain Golf Course – managed by Billy Casper Golf (BCG) – has opened its newly renovated 19th Hole Grill.
Featuring a modern kitchen with a gorgeous dining and banquet area overlooking stunning scenery, 19th Hole Grill chef Michelle Gurbal customized a new menu with a wide selection of grill fare, sandwiches and wraps.
In addition, Black Mountain has introduced new player’s passes for 2012:
• The Eagle Pass – $119 for the season – includes $12 savings on an unlimited number of 18-hole greens fees and a 15-percent discount on golf shop merchandise.
• The Birdie Pass – $19 for the season – includes $8 savings on an unlimited number of 18-hole greens fees and a 10-percent discount on golf shop merchandise.
Both passes feature exclusive card-holder events and clinics, as well as additional discounts.
“We’re excited about working with the Town of Black Mountain to enhance this great community amenity,” says Brent Miller, General Manager of Black Mountain Golf Course. “Delicious new food options in the renovated 19th Hole Grill, as well as player incentive programs, are sure to keep local golfers visiting time and again.”
BCG began managing Black Mountain in September 2011 and oversees all aspects of operations, golf course and property maintenance, sales, marketing and public relations, staffing and training, merchandising, restaurant, financial management and special events.
Located at the foot of the gorgeous Black Mountain Range in western North Carolina, Black Mountain is an 18-hole, 6,215-yard par-71 layout that is open to the public. Debuted in 1929 as a nine-hole course designed by legendary architect Donald Ross, the back nine opened in 1962.
With bent-grass greens, plush fairways, dramatic elevation changes and spectacular vistas, Black Mountain is recognized as one of the most pleasurable golf experiences regionally. Among the signature holes is the No. 17 par-6, 747-yard monster – at one time the longest hole in the world – requiring both extraordinary distance off the tee and imagination.
Guests check in at the newly renovated golf shop, recently relocated to the building in the lower level of the parking lot, which contains a variety of brand-name golf apparel and equipment.
