PLYMOUTH, IN. (March 19, 2012) – Swan Lake Resort located 30-miuntes south of South Bend, Indiana has named Matt Hovermale as it new Merchandise Manager.
Hovermale is a PGA Member and served as Head Golf Professional at The Course at Aberdeen in Valparaiso, Indiana. Hovermale, who is now on duty at the resort, has relocated to Plymouth with his wife Kristen.
Andy Mears, Sales and Marketing Director for Swan Lake Resort, called the hire “A major step forward for the resort merchandising program.” “Our level of merchandising requires a full-time Merchandise Manager” Hovermale will oversee merchandising for the Golf Shop and Golf Academy. “Matt’s expertise provides the opportunity to expand our merchandising, while improving inventory control and customer service.” added Mears.
“I am excited to join the team at Swan Lake Resort.” “I am an Indiana native and graduate from Trine University in Angola, Indiana; so I am glad to continue my career in Indiana.” As an Assistant Professional, Hovermale worked with Chad Hutsell, Swan Lake Resort’s new Head Golf Professional. “I am glad to have Matt onboard and look forward to working with him again as we set our sights on growing the business.” said Hutsell.
