PLYMOUTH, IN. (March 19, 2012) – Swan Lake Resort located 30-miuntes south of South Bend, Indiana has hired Clint Miller and Terry Govern as Assistant Golf Professionals. Clint Miller will assist Head Professional Chad Hutsell, while Terry Govern will assist Director of Instruction Brian Natzel.
Miller is a 2008 graduate of Trine University Golf Management program, where he played four years on the varsity golf team. He is currently at Level 3 in the PGA Apprentice program. Miller’s previous experience has been at Salt Creek Golf Retreat in Nashville, IN and Canongate at the Woodlands in Texas.
Govern brings 30 years of golf instruction experience to Swan Lake Resort. He previously taught at three private and public golf courses in Chicago. Govern also served as Head Golf Coach at Loyola University Chicago for both Men and Women. Govern’s playing credentials are also impressive being selected an All-America while attending Western Illinois University and numerous high finishes in PGA Section events.
Both Hutsell and Natzel consider their new assistants key components in the effort to take Swan Lake Resort in a new direction. “The resort is embarking on many new programs to increase business and retain customers. Brian and I were looking for hard working and dedicated professionals, and believe we’ve found two great leaders.” Said Hutsell. While Natzel added, “With the Golf Academy going back to its teaching roots, I needed an experience assistant, a strong right-hand. Terry fits the need perfectly.”
Swan Lake Golf Resort is a Plymouth, Indiana based company founded in 1969. The Golf Academy has been part of the facility since 1969.
