TPC Scottsdale to host overnight, full day and half day camp programs
Ponte Vedra Beach, FL (March 26, 2012): The TOUR Academy has announced its junior golf camp 2012 summer season programming at the highly desirable TPC Scottsdale in Scottsdale, Arizona. The programs are scheduled to begin in June and run through August. Programs include overnight, full-day and half-day camps and are open to juniors 7-17 years of age and of all ability levels.

The camps will be led by John Stahlschmidt. Stahlschmidt is a Class A Member of the PGA of America and has been a golf instructor since 2006. He has worked under some of the game’s best instructors and has coached several professionals on the PGA TOUR, LPGA Tour, Nationwide Tour and the Futures Tour. Additionally, Stahlschmidt has international teaching experience and was selected to coach the CIMB Junior Development Program in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia.
All additional instruction team members have undergone a rigorous training program and are well-prepared to meet the developmental needs of the junior golfer. Many have served as contributing writers for notable outlets such as PGATOUR.COM, Golf Illustrated, and the Golf Channel, have served as coaches for top college golf teams, and have worked on an international basis with top junior players in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore.
