Sanford, FL – RIFE Putters captured a T-3rd Place Finish on the LPGA Tour this past weekend at the KIA Classic, held at the La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, CA.

This week it was a RIFE Island Series putter that caught all the attention and earned the 3rd Place Finisher a paycheck for $100,511.00. The 3rd Place Finisher and her RIFE putter currently Rank 3rd in Putts Per GIR on the LPGA Tour, with a 1.68 average, and 7th in Putts Per Round, with a 28.5 average. RIFE had a total of five putters in play at the event.

“We’re very excited about having our putters in play on all three of the Professional Tours,” said Robby Hipp, Director of Development for RIFE Putters. “These Tour Players can pretty much play whatever they want. To have them choose to play a RIFE putter says a whole lot about our product.”

RIFE’s new line of putters for 2012 include its award winning Island Series models: the Abaco, Aruba, Cayman Brac and Trinidad, which are all recent recipients of a 2012 Golf Digest Hot List Award.

All of these Island Series putters will be available in either a Standard Silver Finish or in RIFE’s brand new Tropical Finish. This Tropical Finish is created by using a vacuum “Ti” plating process” on the head of the putter. A broad spectrum of colors emanate from this deep rich gunmetal like finish creating a “rainbow effect” depending upon how the light hits it. The new finish has other benefits aside from its eye-catching appearance. The finish prevents oxidization, increases hardness and makes the putter very wear-resistant.

About RIFE Putters

RIFE Putters, LLC is the true innovator behind horizontal grooved face putter technology with a patent on specifically sized grooves since 1997. These precisely spaced grooves allow the putter to gently press into the cover of the ball and grip and lift it into an instant forward roll. RIFE Putters states, “just as grooves in irons help control spin so do grooves in a putter face.” Other companies are now trying to imitate this patented technology but the spacing of the grooves is the true key to the gripping and lifting effect of grooved face putter technology. Horizontal RollGrooveTM faced putters create the truest “no skid” roll in golf no matter where you hit the ball on the putter face.
