If the week before the Masters is a way to gauge success in the years first major, then SuperStroke Golf is primed for a huge tournament in Augusta.
At the Shell Houston Open, SuperStroke grips helped grab 4 top 25 finishes, including two in the top 10. Finishing T4 was an English born player, making this his second straight T4 finish. Also finishing in the top 10 was a two-time PGA Tour winner and University of Kentucky grad, finishing T8 for the week. Both players used the SuperStroke Slim Lite and showed the value of SuperStroke technology, finishing 1st and 2nd in putts per round for the tournament, respectively.
The European Tour made a stop at the Sicilian Open, where two top 25 finishes were in hand. Leading the way for SuperStroke grips was a Spaniard, finishing 5th for the week. This top 5 finish jumps the two-time European tour winner to 34th in the Race to Dubai.
LPGA presence is now being shown with the #2 player in the Rolex World Rankings switching to SuperStroke technology. The 2010 money winner put on a SuperStroke UltraSlim as the Kraft Nabisco Championship and finished T8. This top 10 finish jumped her to 4th on the 2012 money list.
Heading into the Masters, SuperStroke Golf has now eclipsed the $5 million mark for the year.
